How do Hybrid-training Walks work?

• After an in-person behavioral assessment and intake, your dog is eligible to begin on a recurring walk schedule.
• Our trainer visits your dog on designated weekdays and updates you on progress.
• Specific topic based handouts for are included in the cost.

Are Hybrid-training Walks a fit for my dog ?

• Since we want to help your dog achieve as much progress as possible, we only do training walks for dogs that are not actively undergoing training or routinely exposed to prongs collars, choke collars, or e-collars. We understand that every dog is unique, and it’s crucial to provide the best environment for their growth. Therefore, we are happy to work with you to find alternative equipment or strategies that promote a positive learning experience for your beloved pet. Our goal is to ensure that all dogs feel comfortable and confident during their walks, allowing them to flourish.
• Dogs in need of time-specific potty breaks, are still eligible for training walks; however, we will need to schedule for days that someone will be able to give them a potty break. Our trainer can only provide a window of time rather than a specific time, which means it’s essential that we coordinate with the caregivers to ensure that the dogs get the necessary breaks. This approach helps maintain the dogs’ comfort and well-being during their training sessions, allowing for a more productive experience overall.
• For certain levels of reactivity, we may require some private training sessions.
